That is how Nik and I feel every 1st of the month when our Stork Stack box arrives at our door steps. Honestly, its become a ritual in our household.
We have been getting these 'Stacks of Love delivered monthly' since August '12. If you've never heard of Stork Stack, well my friends, let me fill you in about this awesome company.
They are a fairly new monthly subscription box company (Est. mid 2012) and they curate monthly Stacks that include 5 of their favorite highest-quality products for baby AND for us mamas. Boxes start from your 3rd trimester up to your child's 3rd birthday so you can totally sign up with no worries of the products not suiting your child's age or if you want to think ahead (like I did) you can 'age up' your child so you can get items ahead of the age group your child is currently in. The cutest part is that each month is a different theme at which they do an amazing job at selecting items that fit the theme perfectly! Every box comes with a greeting from the SS team and description card listing each of the products and their prices.
The Stacks start at $28/month and shipping is always free! They also offer the option of a 3 Month Membership for $84, 6 Month Membership for $168 and an Annual Membership for $336.
I'm telling you, you try a month, you'll be hooked!
In addition to all this, the customer service is impeccable! I feel like I've been over to Chris' house for dinner numerous times :)
If I still haven't convinced you, get this, they give back! With every subscription, Stork Stack Gives Back. They donate Stacks to families in need. So you're buying to receive great items for you and your child AND you're helping out another mommy who's less fortunate than you. How good does THAT make you feel? Makes me feel SUPER GOOD!
So here's what we got in our 12 month old February's Stork Stack themed 'Meet Your New "Animal Friends!"'
First up: The Melissa and Doug Peek-a-boo Turtle ($9.99).
A cute wooden toy turtle (I'm all about eco-friendly wooden toys) with child-safe paint that plays peek-a-boo with your little one (its head and legs snap under to its hiding place!). It even comes with a sweet insert giving you 'tips' on how to play with your child. Boosts hand-eye coordination and promotes the developmental concept of object permanence. Immediately Nik grabbed this out of the box and started poking the plastic to get to Mr. Turtle.
Next up: Under the Nile Flat Elephant for $12.00 (My fav of the box!). This adorable elephant toy is made with organic Egyptian cotton, so that means when little sharp teeth try to gnaw through there will be no fluff to inhale. Fancy that! We got the blue one and I think there's a red variation of this. I love the blue because Nik has a Skip Hop Elephant Backpack that's blue and I think this toy will match perfectly!
We've got BabyLegs! These things are awesome! They are valued at $12.00 and totally fun! You can wear these as leg warmers or as arm warmers. Super practical at any age; this and a onesie on a newborn for those what feels like 1000 times a day diaper changes, great for little crawlers and a fashion statement for your tot!
Little Duck Organics ($4.49) in Banana Apple flavor. These are completely organic, no sugar-added, gluten-free tiny fruit snacks. No lie- these are tiny, tiny- perfect for little hands and the 'four feet and under crowd' as the company puts it. We went to swimming lessons today and this is all Nikolas wanted to eat. Even 6 foot 3" dad joined in on the craze!
And last but certainly not least, the mommy's gift- this month it was two packets of EBoost ($1.25/packet). These are vitamin-infused dietary supplement that is suppose to provide energy, recovery, focus and supports the immune system. No sugar, no artificial flavors AND only 10 CALORIES! SOLD!!
I'm trying these tomorrow. Mommy's got a big all day meeting (9-4, literally) so these will most definitely come in handy.
If you were adding it up as we went along then you know this box is valued at $40.98 for only $28! Super great deal!
This month's box was a hit! Nik loved it, mom loved it and even big bear dad loved it!
The only thing missing from this box that the others have had in the past is the stringy decorative paper confetti they used to 'fluff' the box with. I would reuse it for gifts. Subscribers were complaining because it was a waste of paper...guess most mommies weren't reusing them like I was so I assume Stork Stack exed them. I kept telling them to send me people's unwanted confetti ;)
So did I convince you? You signing up? Isn't this the cutest idea ever?!
What was your fav of the box? I'd love to know!
XO & Baixinhos! (It's an endearing term in Portuguese meaning 'little children')
~Erika
Disclosure: I bought this.
